Arrival and status perks

I reserved a standard king guestroom online for this stay, and received an upgrade to a king suite before we arrived. I checked in online, and stopped at the front desk to get our keys when we arrived around 7PM. My bonus points posted to my account the next day.

I loved the location of this guestroom. It is in the corner on the top floor. It was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The living area contained a sofa, soft chair, desk and chair, suitcase bench, small tables, large flatscreen TV, microwave, mini-fridge, and Keurig coffeemaker.

The bathroom shower had a nice glass door. Bath amenities and good quality soft towels were provided.

The bedroom had doors to the bathroom and living area that could be closed. The spacious bedroom contained a second large flatscreen TV on an armoire, nightstands, and a wardrobe closet. I loved that there were two thermostat controls in the suite; one on the living room and one in the bedroom.

Misc. and overall

This hotel has nice public seating and an open floor plan with an overlook to the restaurant and bar. We did not visit the food and beverage outlets because of our short stay. This was just a quick stopover sleep for us. We chose this hotel because it was in the general area of where we wanted to stop, and the price was excellent (less than $100). The online hotel photos also looked like the property had been recently remodeled. The property is tastefully decorated and comfortable, and we would definitely choose it again. The only criticism I have is that there was a stagnant odor in the guestroom. Fortunately, I had packed my travel spray, which took care of this.
