Arrival and platinum perks
We received no welcome or status recognition at this hotel. In fact, our room had not even been preassigned when we arrived after check-in time. The 500 platinum points automatically posted to my account after check-in.

The guestroom style and decor at this hotel was similar to the one bedroom suite we had in St Louis, although it was not as clean nor as comfortable. In fact, this stay was a huge disappointment compared to our stay at the St Louis--Westport Staybridge Suites.

Food & Beverage
This hotel did not have an evening social, even though this perk is listed on the hotel website, and on a plaque on the hotel wall. When I inquired about this during our stay, the front desk agent gave the COVID excuse; they have not had an evening social since then. I politely told her they should think about updating their website then, since it has been 3 years, and other properties have resumed this perk. This amenity is still on their website as I am writing this post, over 6 weeks after my stay.
Misc. and overall
This hotel is definitely not one we would choose to stay in again. Along with the misinformation online about the hotel amenities, we also encountered indifferent attitudes from hotel staff.
