I am quite far behind with my travel sharing; this is just a brief post to share some photos of our drive through Shenandoah National Park in June of this year.

We traveled Skyline Drive from Front Royal to Tunnel Parking Overlook and back. There is a National Park entrance fee to drive this road.

We stopped at the Visitor's Center and at pretty much every overlook in both directions. The smoke from the Canadian wildfires was quite thick the day of our visit. The Visitor's Center has a store with many nice souvenirs for sale.

There are many hiking trails along Skyline Drive, which we would have enjoyed, if we had had more time. There is also a campground (Mathews Arm), and a roadside park/picnic area with a store (Elkwallow Wayside).
This National Park and campground is one we think would be worth another visit with our camper! Let me know if you have any questions.
