Holiday Inn Express fitness center and pool
The fitness center looked clean with ample equipment, although I did not use it this trip. Fortunately, we did not want to use the pool, because that area was kind of nasty. We observed several hairballs and other debris on the floor.

Area info: brewery, and short hike
We shared a sampler at nearby Moeller Brew Barn. The atmosphere inside was pleasant, and the place was quite crowded. We sat at the bar, and the service was mediocre. We got the impression that staff does not help each other out, and that no one seemed to notice or care what was happening around them. We felt the same way about the beer taste and quality. All the beers looked great; however, we would not have any of the beers we chose again. I guess when you live near Beer City Grand Rapids, Michigan, it is more difficult to find great beer elsewhere.

We stopped to hike at Greenville Falls one morning. This was a nice bit of exercise for us, although the trail was not quite what we expected. It is a very short walk on gravel to the small falls, and then there are a couple of overgrown grass paths off the main path. The overhead map view that we looked at beforehand must have been old, because we expected the other paths to also be wide gravel paths for an easy hike. We were not dressed for deep woods hiking that day, so we did not go far.
