Campsite C29 in Heaton Bay Campground Silverthorne, Colorado |
Campground and facilities
Our campsite in C loop had power and water hookup. The cost was $30.50 for one night (not counting the reservation fee) with the senior discount. This site is level and private with a great view. We only stayed one night, and did not need to unhook our trailer. We would have stayed longer; however, this campground was closing the day we departed.
This campground has rustic sites, and sites with electric and water hookup. Some are available with reservations, and some are non-reservable. There are no flush toilets, showers, nor a sanitation station.

Recreation and miscellaneous
We walked to the picnic area in the campground, and the water in the bay was very low at the time of our stay. A paved bike trail runs alongside the campground, which we would have loved to ride, if the park had not been closing. There are also hiking trails across the road from the campground.
